in spring of 2021, after pouring in hundreds of hours, i finished "blueberries" and then proceeded to sit on the tracks for over a year. that's not totally true. i graduated, moved across the country, started a job, left behind friends, and tried to build a life somewhere new. "blueberries" had been the culmination of all the covid dislocation, the creativity-sapping churn of school and of my own need to finish a project--to put my time to good use. now i'm back again on the verge of a new chapter and it feels like it's time to release these songs finally into the world. enjoy.
